About Jodie
As a third-generation professional in the green industry, I have followed in the footsteps of my grandfather and father, continuing a family tradition of working with nature. Growing up as the daughter of a horticulturalist, my love for the outdoors and passion for science began at an early age. Throughout high school, I immersed myself in biology, chemistry, and physics, spending summers working with the Conservation Authority, deepening my understanding of the natural world.
I pursued my formal education in landscape design at Fanshawe College, earning my Co-Op Diploma in 1997. I became a Certified Landscape Designer in 2006 and obtained my Fusion Landscape Professional designation in 2017.
Over the years, I have gained invaluable experience in various areas of the landscape industry. My career began at Reeves Florist and Nursery in Woodbridge, where I worked with hundreds of clients to design residential landscapes. I then transitioned into the software side of the industry with DynaSCAPE, where I trained landscape professionals across North America in CAD-based design software. I also had the privilege of teaching at the world-renowned Niagara Parks School of Horticulture.
Today, my passion is designing unique and creative outdoor spaces that blend beauty, functionality, and sustainability. With a deep knowledge of plant materials, color, and natural elements, I craft landscapes that reflect my clients' visions while embracing environmentally responsible practices. Whether it's a small garden refresh or a multi-year backyard transformation, I approach every project with the same level of care, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
